At theoffshorebulletin, our goal is to create a single, accessible space where someone completely new to the industry can learn just as effectively as someone with decades of experience at sea. Our founders grew frustrated with constantly having to pay for information or create accounts just to access basic guidance. So we changed that.

We’ve brought together clear, relevant, and easy-to-understand information that’s completely free to use. From basic safety courses required to work onboard, to applying for a seaman’s discharge book, to understanding seafarers’ rights—we’ve focused on the essentials that form the foundation of entering the industry.
